The Surrey Rams Basketball club have teamed up with Active Surrey and Merton Borough Council to offer the Easter holidays 4 day multi-sports camp. Campers will enjoy a range of activities such as basketball, multi-sports activities, enrichment programmes (including essential a healthy eating cooking day course ran by "COOKING ADVENTURES LTD"). In the afternoon, campers will get be served a hot lunch and receive healthy eating creative interaction sessions.



At the Harris Merton Academy HAF Camp, we will also offer a day trip to "FLIPOUT adventure park".

WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE HAF - SURREY RAMS MULTI-SPORTS EASTER CAMP?
The Surrey Rams aim is to offer our service to the community of Guildford, and Merton inclusive of candidates age, gender or ethnicity. We believe every child in the community should have memorable Easter filled with fun multi-sports activity, enrichment programmes, making new friends while being physically active in a safe, and structured environment.

The camp is inclusive to girls and boys aged 10-16(SCHOOL YEARS 5 - YEAR 11) are welcome.

The camp is a little different from our normal camps as we have condensed each camp day to 4 hours.

SURREY RAMS BASKETBALL AND MULTI-SPORTS ACTIVITY CONTENT (What is on offer for candidates enrolling in course?)
At our Merton Camp, we will offer a Basketball camp as well as a day trip to FLIPOUT adventure park.

At the Surrey camp, we will offer a multi-sports activity program will be based around fun multisport games (primarily Basketball) and team building challenges. However, during the day, candidates will be offered a chance to also get involved in different sporting and enrichment activities (football, drama, arts and craft, magic making, animal and reptiles interaction,).



THE EASTER CAMPERS WILL GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE HEALTHY MEAL WHICH THEY WILL COOK THEMSELVES WITH THE HELP OF THE COOKING ADVENTUERES COMPANY. AS PART OF OUR HEALTHY EATING EDUCATION WE BELIEVE THIS IS WILL BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR OUR CAMPERS. OUR AIM IS TO GIVE ALL CAMPERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY A RANGE OF HEALTHY INGRIEDIENTS.



Parents/Guardians can book candidates for 1 - 4 days.

As we are offering catering at the camp, parents can also select the provided lunch meal plan for their child if they are interested.

***PLEASE NOTE FSM SPACES AT GUILDFORD COUNTY SCHOOL WE CURRENTLY ONLY HAVE 8 FSM SPACES LEFT. WE DO HAVE MORE SPACES FOR CAMPERS WHO ARE NOT FSM ELIGIBLE (PAID CAMPERS) AT GUILDFORD COUNTY SCHOOL. ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED, YOU WILL BE SENT CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH HOW TO PAY FOR CAMP (£15.00 PER DAY, £20.00 PER DAY IF YOUR CHILD WOULD LIKE A HOT MEAL AND BEVERAGE PROVIDED).

WHAT DOES CANDIDATES NEED TO BRING?
Both venues have a fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities to best equip for the British weather, however, we would recommend that campers bring with them suitable clothing and water to drink.



The Rams will serve a hot course hot lunch for all FSM children, as well as students who register for the meal option.

WHO WILL COACH/ LOOK AFTER CANDIDATES?
Our experienced coaches endeavor to to put fun as a priority to all campers, whilst ensuring the campers are in a safe environment. Our Rams coaches bring a professional approach to keep campers engaged.

Our coaches are:
• Qualified in First Aid
• Basketball England Level 3 and 2 qualified
• Hold DBS certificates
• Child protection trained
If your child is eligible for Free School Meals, he/she can attend the camp for free. *IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT FSM ELIGIBLE, THE COST FOR THE CAMP PER DAY IS £15.00
Please note that HAF Codes, E-Voucher Codes/Grocery Ecodes can be obtained from your child's school if you have not received it via email.
